Editorial Policy

These are the rules we hold ourselves to. If we break one, tell us and we will fix it.

1. Claims must be traceable

Every statement we make about a product traces back to something we can point at: the Amazon listing, or a count of real customer reviews. Where we say buyers report something, we publish the sample it came from. We do not write benefit copy that sounds plausible but has no source.

2. No invented numbers

Scores are computed by a published formula. Popularity indicators, where they appear, are real counts of what visitors actually clicked — if we do not have the data, the line does not appear. We never generate a number to make a page look busier.

3. We do not claim to test

We have no lab. No page on this site will say a product was tested, measured, or used by us, because it was not.

4. Money is disclosed, not hidden

Our commercial relationships affect which products we consider and where they rank. We state that on every list and explain it in full on How We Rank. No brand can buy a score, a position within its group, or the removal of a rival.

5. Lists get rebuilt, not quietly edited

Ratings and review counts are refreshed on a schedule and the rebuild date is printed at the top of every list. Discontinued or out-of-stock products are removed.

6. Corrections are free and fast

Anyone can report an error on the contact page, including the brands we write about. We do not require a relationship to accept a correction.
